        Police: Mastic DWI crash suspect had 6-year-old, 4-year-old daughters inside vehicle

        A Shirley man was arrested Saturday for driving drunk and crashing in Mastic with his two young daughters inside the vehicle, police say.
        Authorities say Gerardo Gonzalez Ramos, 47, crashed into two parked cars on Mastic Boulevard West just before 8:30 p.m.
        Police responding to the scene found that he was intoxicated and had his 6-year-old and 4-year-old daughters inside the car.
        The charges against Ramos include endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated DWI with a child passenger 15-years-old or younger.
        He is expected to be arraigned in court on Sunday, according to authorities.
