A Perth Amboy flower shop is set to close after more than 100 years in business.
Petrick's Flowers has been family-run for generations and is one of the oldest businesses in the city. It first opened in 1910 and even featured the first telephone in the neighborhood.
The current owner says the landlord is selling the property, and he is ready to retire.
"It just gives you a warm feeling being able to service people and help them out and they appreciate what you've done,” says owner William Petrick.
The property is set to be sold on Monday. Petrick says the shop does not have an official closing date yet.
