It was a busy weekend on the roads across the country and Connecticut.
Connecticut State Police were busy keeping the roads safe this weekend.
State police troopers responded to just over 5,000 calls.
They made 1,347 traffic stops and caught 36 people suspected of driving under the influence.
Police handled 271 crashes, 26 of which had injuries and two people died.
