3h agoThe NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying a man wanted in connection to a violent assault earlier this month on DeKalb Avenue.
Police say a confrontation on May 2 escalated into a brutal attack when the suspect slashed a man in the face and shoulder with an unknown sharp object before fleeing the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition.
Police released surveillance images and video showing the suspect.
Some residents expressed concern over the block’s poor lighting, saying it may contribute to unsafe conditions and violence.
