        State police investigate shooting at Middletown apartment complex

        State police say they responded to the Horizons at Wawayanda complex on Route 6 for a 911 call of a shooting Saturday morning, at approximately 12:51 a.m.

        Neighbors at an apartment complex in Middletown are reaching out to News 12 with safety concerns after a bullet fired in a weekend shooting allegedly struck a unit.
        State police say they responded to the Horizons at Wawayanda complex on Route 6 for a 911 call of a shooting Saturday morning, at approximately 12:51 a.m.
        One neighbor says they heard three to four shots, and another tells News 12 that their unit was hit from several apartments away.
        Police have not said if any apartments were damaged or how many shots may have been fired.
        No one was injured during the incident and state police say it remains under investigation. They’re asking anyone with information to call them at 845-344-5300 and reference case # NY2401026531.
