A fallen tree blocked the northbound lanes of the Saw Mill River Parkway in Hastings-on-Hudson early Thursday, causing a temporary closure.
Westchester County police say the tree came down at around 1 a.m., about a quarter mile north of the Ravensdale Road overpass.
No vehicles were hit, but police closed the parkway at Farragut Avenue and rerouted traffic to Route 9A north. Vehicles were able to re-enter at Lawrence Street in Dobbs Ferry.
Crews cleared the tree and reopened the northbound lanes around 3 a.m.
