Janik, 39, was arrested on Dec. 30 in Bloomfield and is facing several charges, including enticing a minor by computer, attempted commercial sexual abuse of a minor and attempted illegal sexual contact with a victim under 16.
Sacred Heart officials say Janik was immediately suspended pending an investigation.
News 12 has reached out to Bloomfield police for additional information and is waiting to hear back.
