Two people have been killed in separate shooting incidents about a mile apart from each other in Brooklyn on Tuesday, according to police.
Police say the first shooting happened on E 93rd St in Brownsville, where a 15-year-old was found in the lobby of a building with a gunshot wound to the head during a double shooting.
Police have identified him as Heath Campbell, and it is believed he lived in the building where he was shot.
In that same building, a 16-year-old boy was found with a gunshot to the shoulder.
Police say the 16-year-old is in stable condition at Brookdale Hospital.
A 21-year-old-man was also shot multiple times in the back just a mile away on Lefferts Avenue in Prospect Lefferts Gardens hours later.
The NYPD has identified the 21-year-old victim as Nickalos Mitchell.
It happened just after 6 p.m. at 415 Lefferts Ave.
He was taken to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say a suspect was last seen fleeing westbound on Lefferts Avenue.
There have not been any charges filed for either incident.
