A man was stabbed across the street from La Sabrosura Restaurant on East Main Street in Bridgeport, police say.

Officials say the victim arrived at Bridgeport Hospital around 7 a.m. with a stab wound to the neck.

Police did not provide any additional information on when the incident happened.

The man told police he was stabbed in a parking lot.

There is no word on his condition.

The detective bureau is investigating.
