A 3-alarm fire ripped that through a multiple-story building in Passaic Tuesday night is now under control, according to Mayor Hector Lora.
Crews were on scene at Madison and Gregory streets.
Lora says that everyone made it out of the building which crews are now searching.
Fire officials say 3 people were injured. Mayor Lora said earlier in the evening that several people were treated for smoke inhalation.
Passaic is opening a nearby facility for people who have been forced from their homes.
