The body of a Hispanic male was found on the streets of New Rochelle early this morning
Officers responded to a report of an unresponsive person at the intersection of Charles Street and Washington Avenue around 6:15 a.m. and found a Hispanic male, estimated to be in his late teens or early 20s. Officers attempted to render aid before he was taken by ambulance to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The identity of the man has not been determined yet but will be withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Detectives say they have identified several persons of interest.
The Westchester County Medical Examiner's Office has been notified and will conduct a thorough examination to determine the cause and manner of death.
