7h agoA Lawrence Township man was charged in a hit-and-run incident that injured a cyclist.
The crash happened on Ridge Road in South Brunswick on Sunday. Officials say Carlos Romero-Garcia struck the cyclist and did not stop.
Officials say detectives followed Romero-Garcia after another officer saw his car was missing a side mirror and had damage on the front bumper. Romero-Garcia was then later charged with the hit-and-run.
The 51-year-old cyclist was taken to the hospital and is now recovering at home.
