The threat of serious storms has ended. I can’t rule out a passing shower through the overnight, but the widespread coverage of rain is dwindling.
Overcast skies and humid conditions will greet us as we wake up. Maybe even a touch of patchy fog. Otherwise, drier and clearer weather is expected.
Favorable winds and a lot of sunshine will help warm temperatures up to the low 80s. Unfortunately, we can’t keep the sun in the forecast for the weekend. Clouds and instability will slide up from the south starting Saturday.
Saturday is the better day of the two. It looks like rain will develop by Sunday morning and could linger through the day.
