A Uniondale man was arrested Sunday night, accused of assaulting multiple people, including three police officers.

Detectives say Everton Brooks got into an argument with a woman that turned physical.

News 12 has been told the 28-year-old threw the victim’s phone at her head then punched her in the face multiple times.

When officers attempted to arrest him, Brooks became violent and injured three officers.

The officers and the female victim were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Brooks is facing multiple charges including assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
