Jury selection has commenced in the trial of Kaliek Goode-Ford, a 34-year-old accused of first-degree murder in a triple homicide case in Orange County.
Goode-Ford is charged with shooting and killing a man, his wife and their 9-year-old son in 2020. He also faces attempted murder charges for allegedly shooting a 3-year-old who survived the incident.
Another son escaped without injuries with the help of a neighbor. The motive behind the shooting has not been released.
If convicted, Goode-Ford could face life without parole. The trial is expected to start as soon as a jury is selected.
