With big deals and sale signs in every storefront, eager shoppers hit the shops on the busiest shopping day of the year.
"I wait for Black Friday to get the sales! I save my money just for this occasion," said one shopper, Carmen.
According to the National Retail Federation, a record 183.4 million people will shop in-store and online during the holiday weekend.
Their study shows two-thirds of Black Friday shoppers will shop in-store on the busy day.
Major retailers like Macy's, Nordstrom, and JC Penny brought in major foot traffic to Bay Plaza Mall.
Some shoppers told News 12 they waited all year for this day, while others were disappointed.
"Unfortunately Black Friday isn't like it used to be," said Norma, another holiday shopper.
For those who didn't catch the deals on Black Friday, the next chance for holiday sales is online shopping on Cyber Monday.
