The Department of Transportation announced that Friday was the last day for businesses to take down roadway outdoor dining sheds. The DOT says people who fail to comply can face up to $1,000 in fines.
However, New Yorkers will continue to see outdoor dining sidewalk sheds as those are open all year long.
Businesses on Arthur Avenue tell News 12 that outdoor dining is good for business, but without it they are not worried their businesses will suffer.
