The NYPD is asking for the public’s help finding three men in connection to an assault and robbery in Highbridge.
Police say the incident happened Nov. 22 at 4:30 p.m. They say the suspects attacked a 38-year-old man in his apartment building. Officers say the victim invited one of the suspects over to his home for pizza. When the pizza delivery supposedly arrived--the victim and suspect went into the lobby where they were confronted by the other two men.
The NYPD says all three men began assaulting the victim. They say he was then dragged into his home and hit over the head with a gun. Officers say the three men stole the victim’s phone and ran away.
The victim was transported to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.
If you have any information regarding these three men you are asked to call the crime stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
