Life's WORC Family Center for Achievement's had its first-ever sensory friendly Halloween House.
It is specifically designed for people with intellectual disabilities and Long Islanders on the spectrum.
Unlike some traditional haunted houses that feature loud noises, blinking lights and scary mechanical displays, the Garden City attraction allows people on the spectrum to enjoy the Halloween experience.
"This Halloween house is fantastic, and the center really did a good job," says one client.
The Halloween house will be open to the public through Halloween.
Families who want to attend are recommended to make an appointment for a tour of the Halloween house.
