        Ex-Westchester correction officer pleads guilty to armed robbery

        Fray, 32, of Mount Vernon, admitted to participating in the December robbery in Newburgh, where he and another man forcibly entered a residence, stealing a large quantity of marijuana and cash at gunpoint.

        Recaldo Fray, a former Westchester County correction officer, pleaded guilty in federal court to his role in an armed robbery in Orange County.
        Fray, 32, of Mount Vernon, admitted to participating in the December robbery in Newburgh, where he and another man forcibly entered a residence, stealing a large quantity of marijuana and cash at gunpoint.
        Fray also threatened the victim weeks later.
        He will be sentenced in January. Two other defendants are awaiting trial.
