Dozens of kids in Dover started a weeklong junior police program on Monday.
This is the third year the Dover Police Department has held the program.
Nearly 50 kids from fifth through eighth grade are a part of the program. It includes training from police drill instructors.
"This program is to help challenge and motivate the youth of the town of Dover and surrounding municipalities and show them what law enforcement is all about outside of what you see on television,” says Dover Police Chief Jonathan Delaney.
Various other law enforcement agencies join the program as well, including the FBI, DEA state police and more.
All students get free uniforms and lunch.
