17h agoA sinkhole continues to plague I-80 in Wharton Township with no reopening timeline set.
However, some progress has been made as the Department of Transportation reports that the void in the center lane of I-80 eastbound has been stabilized.

Crews are working around the clock to drill and fill other potential problem areas in the ground.
Officials say 82 locations have been drilled, with 57 filled with grout.
Not all areas are voids, but the DOT notes some may need further investigation as efforts continue.
