        A police officer from Passaic County is in stable condition with serious injuries after a crash overnight on Main Street in Little Falls.
        According to authorities, the officer was driving a department vehicle around 1:15 a.m. when the crash occurred. The officer was taken to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Paterson. Authorities have confirmed that there was no police chase involved, but have not released further details.
        News 12's Tony Caputo reports from the scene that several properties sustained significant damage, including Schumacher Chevrolet, Mavis Tire, The Knights of Columbus, Mainline Pizza, and a private residence on Van Ness Avenue. The extent of the damage and how it was spread out over a wide area is still unknown.
        The incident is currently under investigation.
