The state of Connecticut has announced a $25 million incentive package to support manufacturing and strengthen the supply chain for major industries.
According to Connecticut Economic Development Commissioner Daniel O'Keefe, "What are the nature of some of the products? I mean, it's aerospace providers, right? So, our large national defense providers. You know, all of the supply chain operators feeding Electric Boat, for example."
Companies that receive the grants will be required to match half of the funding with their own money.
The initiative is designed to help Connecticut's manufacturing industry stay competitive and resilient in the face of global trade uncertainties.
