The NYPD has made an arrest in connection to the body found in an ambulette Monday morning in Castle Hill.
Sharief Bodden, 29, was silent as he walked out of the 43rd Precinct Friday night. Bodden was charged with murder, manslaughter, criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon in the death of 64-year-old Peter Forrest.
NYPD officials tell News 12 Bodden is on parole for robbery and was arrested in Staten Island.
News 12 previously reported about a surveillance video that shows a Marquis Ambulette parked at the end of Castle Hill and Hart Street. About a half hour later, a man is seen getting out and heading into a separate car with a woman.
Shortly after, a second worker for the ambulette company discovers the body, left inside the van.
Police say Forrest was a company employee. They are still investigating what led to his death.
News 12 has reached out to Marquis officials for comment. They say they are cooperating with the investigation.
