For nearly 25 years, The Bridgeport Islanders have been making fans cheer.

They are the AHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders. At their games, spectators have the chance to catch a glimpse of hockey's future stars.

The game is fast paced and action packed.

"Hockey will grab you anyway," Alan Fuehring, director of broadcasting says. Fuehring says it's the food, promo nights, special events and intermission games that make the night packed with fun for families.
