Some New England Patriots players dropped by the all-new Great Wolf Lodge Mashantucket on Tuesday to help raise money for charity.
Christian Gonzalez, Keion White, and David Andrews joined the lodge's "Patriot Plunge," racing down slides in the 92,000-square-foot indoor water park alongside a Make-A-Wish participant.
The event raised funds for Make-A-Wish, with players presenting a check for over $12,000.
Lodge General Manager Henry Tessman praised the partnership, saying, "We've been doing wishes for as long as I've been with the company, I partnered with them at my previous property. Can't wait to partner with them here in Connecticut as well. Across the entire United States, we've done a really good job of partnering with Make-A-Wish and we've done quite a few wishes at this point."
The lodge opens to the public on May 9.
