A three-time New Jersey high school state wrestling champion is now facing charges related to a fight in the bleachers at Collingswood High School last month.
Anthony Knox is a junior at Saint John Vianney High School in Holmdel. Authorities say Knox repeatedly punched an opponent in the face during the Feb. 22 incident.
He was charged with simple assault – a disorderly persons offense.
Knox was disqualified from this year’s postseason due to the brawl, but a judge reinstated him.
He could become New Jersey’s fifth four-time state champion.
