An Ansonia man accused of causing a fatal head-on crash in Woodbury last summer has turned himself in.

Isiah Turner is charged with manslaughter with a motor vehicle, illegal operation under the influence, and other charges.

Police say Robert Gardner was traveling south on Route 6 on July 29 when a vehicle traveling north crossed the double yellow line and hit him head-on.

Gardner was killed and his female passenger suffered serious injuries.
