A woman is dead after being stabbed multiple times throughout her body on Sunday, according to police.

Police say a 911 call came in around 9 a.m. for a stabbing on Cooper Street.

According to authorities, the victim is a female in her 40s and was transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

There have been no arrests made.
