A 58-year-old Hempstead man has been arrested following a police investigation into a fatal overdose, according to Nassau County police.

Police arrested Nathaniel Greene Saturday night.

Subsequent the police investigation, Greene was found allegedly in possession of a white powdery substance police believe is cocaine.

The name of the victim has not been released, but they were a Nassau County resident, police say.

Greene is charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
