Areas of fog will make it feel raw and a little gloomy at times, especially late tonight into early Monday morning. Overnight temperatures will settle into the mid-to-upper 50s with light winds.
If you’re heading out tonight, keep a rain jacket handy and allow extra travel time in areas of fog. Roads may become slick overnight, and visibility could drop quickly in spots.
Memorial Day The holiday starts unsettled with showers and a chance of a rumble of thunder through the morning hours. Some downpours could briefly come down hard before the rain moves through fairly quickly. By late morning into early afternoon, conditions gradually improve with drier skies developing and a much more comfortable feel by later in the day. Afternoon temperatures climb into the low-to-mid 70s.
Morning plans may need a backup indoor option, but the second half of the day looks much better for cookouts, ceremonies, or getting outside. Keep an umbrella nearby early, but you’ll likely be able to ditch it later on.
Beachgoers should use extra caution — dangerous rip currents and rough surf continue through the holiday even after the rain ends. The ocean will look inviting later in the day, but conditions remain hazardous.
Monday Night Clouds linger, but the wet weather moves out. It will feel milder and calmer overnight with temperatures staying in the low-to-mid 60s.
A decent night to open the windows if you like cooler fresh air, though humidity may still hang around a bit.
Tuesday A much nicer stretch begins. Expect a mix of clouds and sunshine with warmer, more comfortable conditions settling in. Afternoon temperatures rise into the upper 70s to around 80.

Wednesday One of the warmest days of the week with plenty of sunshine and temperatures climbing into the low-to-mid 80s. It will feel more summerlike, especially during the afternoon.
Stay hydrated if you’ll be outside for long periods, and don’t forget sunscreen — the stronger late-May sun can sneak up on you.
Thursday Mostly sunny skies continue with seasonably warm temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s.
