The worst of the nor'easter is over, but the storm will continue to wraparound scattered showers and gusty winds up to 30 mph. Weather conditions will slowly improve on Monday.
Wind gusts over 50 mph were reported over parts of the region since Saturday with downed tree limbs, toppling trees and scattered power outages. Wind gusts won't be as intense as Saturday, but strong enough for possible broken tree branches in the streets.
Coastal flooding is still an ongoing concern for Sunday night, especially around high tide. Water could cover coastal and low-lying roads, making some areas difficult to travel through. There's a risk for minor to moderate coastal flooding in some shoreline communities. Never attempt to drive through a flooded roadway.
Rainfall totals near 1" to 2" were reported over parts of the area since Friday with an additional 0.5" to 1" of rainfall possible through Monday. There’s a low risk of localized flooding through Monday.
The storm will slowly pull away on Monday afternoon, with leftover showers and breezy conditions. Weather conditions will really improve on Tuesday through the end of the week, with plenty of sunshine and milder temperatures in the 70s.
