The Town of Hempstead's lawsuit against congestion pricing has received a new court date.
The new date is set for Jan. 5 - after the plan is set to roll out.
A judge is giving Gov. Kathy Hochul’s office and the MTA until Jan. 16 to respond to the town's attempt to stop the plan.
Under the new plan, drivers will be charged at least $9 to enter Manhattan below 60th Street.
The MTA and Hempstead town officials had no comment.
News 12 is also waiting to hear back from the governor's office.
