Swastika graffiti discovered at three locations in Asbury Park this week is being investigated as a series of bias incidents, police said Friday.
Officers responded Tuesday afternoon to the Mercy Center at 901 Main St. after a report of vandalism. Police said graffiti depicting a swastika and lightning bolts was found on the outside of the building.
On Wednesday, officers responded to the 7-Eleven at 1509 Main St. and to an electrical panel box near Fourth Avenue and Memorial Drive, where police said they found the same graffiti.
Police said the incidents are being investigated as bias incidents and encouraged anyone who discovers similar graffiti to report it.
