Today will be dry, cloudy and chilly with highs in the low-40s. We’re tracking a round of soaking rain after 5 a.m. through 1 p.m. tomorrow. Some showers could still linger during the afternoon, but the worst of the storm will be over by noon. Up to half an inch of rainfall with some snowmelt from last month's snowstorm will bring the risk for large puddles and ponding.
This weekend’s storm will be a close call for snow and wind. The likelihood for a major snowstorm is low with the heaviest snow and strongest winds likely staying offshore. The latest models are still inconsistent with the track and potential totals. Light snow accumulation and breezy conditions are still possible Sunday evening into Monday morning. However, there's still a lot of time for the track to wobble back and forth over the next few days. It can either miss the city completely or bring more snow and stronger winds. We'll get a better idea on the track and totals Friday evening. Stay tuned for updates.
