High temperatures the last 4 days included 69 on Sunday, 73 on Monday, 80 (record) on Tuesday and 72 on Wednesday. All of that will change dramatically on Thursday.

If you’re heading out bring rain gear and expect wet roads and slower travel. Temperatures will start the day on the mild side, in the 60s, but big changes will happen as the day unfolds.

Rain may briefly mix with or change to wet snow showers before ending during the afternoon. Little to no accumulation is expected in New York City, but it will feel much cooler by the evening, with temperatures falling into the 30s.
Looking Ahead: Friday night could bring a few scattered rain showers and breezy conditions, followed by a cooler but dry Saturday. Another stronger storm system may arrive Sunday into Monday, bringing steady rain and gusty winds to the New York City area. Most of that event looks like rain, but a brief mix with snow is possible at the very beginning or end of the storm.
