Today will be a drier day but a colder one with gusty winds up to 30 MPH. Highs will reach the 40s with wind chills in the 30s. A storm system will pass North of the city tonight bringing stronger winds, a passing shower and clearing out sky conditions by tomorrow.
This weekend will be dry, chilly and windy. Near seasonable temperatures in the upper-40s to low-50s with gusts between 30-40 MPH. Sunday will be cloudy and breezy for the NYC half marathon but staying dry for runners and spectators.
Our next storm system is late Sunday night through Monday evening. Windswept rain and mild temps near 60 degrees will disrupt travel conditions on Monday. There's a potential for a few thundershowers. Large puddles, localizing flooding and poor visibility when driving will be a concern throughout the day. Colder temperatures settle in by the middle and end of next week with highs in the 40s. Stay tuned for updates.
