OVERNIGHT: A dreary Monday gives way to a breezy Tuesday across the borough. Some clearing is expected overnight. That will allow some colder air to return with lows down to near 40 degrees for the morning commute Tuesday.
TUESDAY: As the sun goes up Tuesday, so will the wind. Gusts are expected to be over 20 mph throughout the morning commute. Some gusts could briefly exceed 30 mph during the midday and afternoon. Despite lots of sun and high temperatures well into the 50s, it won't feel as warm because of the wind. Clouds quickly return around sunset and a storm will make a close approach Tuesday night.
STORMS: This will be the first of three storms that will make a close approach to the borough this week. This first storm should safely stay south, meaning a shower or two is possible around midnight, otherwise it will remain cloudy and dry. Some sun will return Wednesday morning.
WEDNESDAY: It will be breezy once again into the afternoon Wednesday, and stay breezy into Thursday, with 20 to 30 mph gusts likely. It is not downright windy, but enough to add a bit of a chill to the air. It will help keep the area dry Wednesday through Friday. The second rain chance approaches Friday night.
MORE RAIN? A few showers are possible Friday night and Saturday morning, otherwise it remains mild and mostly cloudy to start the weekend. The third storm this week will likely be the biggest with showers likely later on Sunday with thunderstorms possible Monday. This storm will also likely bring the warmest weather of the week with a chance at over 60 degrees.
