Hundreds turned out for a small business fair in Bridgeport on Sunday.

Organizers said the event at McLevy Green helps small businesses network and grow.

"It makes me feel wonderful...I love people, and I love to see people coming together," said Isabell Richardson, of Aaron's Journey, one of the organizations that participated in the event.

"Supporting small businesses is important because that is what this great country was built on...and at the end of the day, if we want to get back to where we were, and make our economy stronger, we have to support small businesses," said Janet Bailey, of Bridgeport.

Organizers added that the event was a big success.
