A Jersey Shore surf brand that started with three T-shirts in a Ship Bottom apartment is now selling apparel across the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean.

Jetty was founded in 2003 by Jeremy DeFilippis and friends, who pooled $200 each and picked the name out of a hat.

The brand's flagship store is in Manahawkin, with its newest location in Pier Village in Long Branch.

Jetty's motto, "Draw Your Own Line," reflects its founders' goal to live freely, travel, and surf.

One standout project was the Hurricane Sandy relief shirt, which raised significant funds through the Jetty Rock Foundation.
