A storm system could scrape by our area on Sunday and into Monday, bringing low chances of a rain-and-snow mix.
The good news? This has been trending to be less and less impactful as we get closer. We will continue to monitor the forecast as we are still several days out and there is the chance for things to change.
Valentine's Day looks largely OK. We have a quick system pushing through late Friday night and into the early parts of Saturday, bringing very light flurries. Any snow accumulation would be very low, as there isn't a lot of moisture in the air. Temperatures will be right around seasonable, in the lower 40s, which is about the best Valentine's present you could get!
Snow could happen between 2 a.m. and 8 a.m., but we will quickly clear up and out, leaving a sunny Saturday to celebrate your loved ones.
Sunday into Monday (Presidents Day) brings that storm system that we could see the very edges of.
Temperatures will stay on the more normal side, in the low 40s at the warmest. Temperatures continue to be above freezing during the day and below freezing at night.
Stay vigilant about watching for black ice and icy spots.
