A man originally from Rockland County is in custody after a mass shooting at a waterfront bar in North Carolina on Saturday night.
Police said Nigel Max Edge opened fire, killing three people and injuring eight others.
News 12 learned Edge grew up in New City and was known as Sean Debovoise.
He graduated from Clarkstown High School North in 2003 and served as a Marine sniper.
Edge is facing multiple charges, including three counts of first-degree murder.
