Another very cold day for Thursday. Afternoon wind chills will be in the teens. Make sure you layer up and dress appropriately for this extreme cold.
The storm we've been tracking will take a path across the Mid-Atlantic and stay too far south to see major impacts. Locally, we may see a few widely scattered snow showers pop up in the afternoon and evening. With the cold air in place, even a little bit of snow might stick and accumulate.
Accumulations will be very minor throughout western Connecticut and stay well under 1 inch.
Dry and windy weather returns for Friday, and temperatures will once again struggle to reach normal levels. The highs will likely stay in the mid-30s but feeling colder throughout the day.
The weekend looks dry for a change and sunny to start. Temperatures will recover with highs finally back in the 40s, which stick around through next week
