Cooler temperatures are on the way next week.
Saturday brings increasing clouds with highs in the 70s, and that cooler trend will stick around through the weekend. The only hiccup comes from late Saturday night into early Sunday morning, when a few showers may pass through, but those should wrap up before sunrise. Looking ahead, we hang around the 70s to open next week, before cooler air moves in to open up October!
TROPICS UPDATE:
Humberto is rapidly intensifying over the central Atlantic and is expected to become a major hurricane later today or Saturday. While it remains well offshore, swells and dangerous rip currents could impact the East Coast early next week. Meanwhile, we’re closely monitoring Invest 94L, a broad area of low pressure currently near eastern Cuba and the southeastern Bahamas. Gradual development is expected, and this system will likely become a tropical depression within the next 24 hours as it moves across the central and northwestern Bahamas. Tropical storm watches or warnings may be issued for portions of the Bahamas, and advisories on a potential tropical cyclone could be released as early as later today.
SATURDAY: Partly sunny. High 76
SUNDAY: Partly sunny. Late shower. High 74
MONDAY: Mostly cloudy. High 77
TUESDAY: Partly sunny. High 77
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny, cooler. High 69
