        Quick-thinking police officers and emergency responders save life of 63-year-old Mamaroneck man

        The man became unconscious during a late-night hockey event at the Harvey School Ice Rink in Katonah on Dec. 20.

        A 63-year-old Mamaroneck man is alive thanks to the quick thinking and swift actions of Bedford police officers and emergency responders.
        The man became unconscious during a late-night hockey event at the Harvey School Ice Rink in Katonah on Dec. 20.
        Officer Robert DeAlto initiated CPR and applied an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), administering a shock.
        Other officers and emergency responders continued patient care until the man regained a pulse.
