Police say three people are injured following an overnight shooting at a Cypress Hills restaurant.
The incident occurred at El Tipico Restaurant just after 1 a.m.
Police told News 12 a verbal argument broke out between the three victims and the suspect, before the unknown man pulled out a gun.
A 37-year-old man was grazed in the stomach and a 27-year-old woman was shot twice in the leg, according to police.
They were both taken to the hospital and were in stable condition as of Saturday evening.
Police say another man walked into the 75th precinct with gunshot wounds to his hand.
Residents told News 12 they weren't surprised by this latest incident.
“Unfortunately, we’re starting the new year with the same crime as last year. We just need more NYPD patrolling the neighborhoods," said Omar Dones, a Cypress Hills resident.
Police say they were still searching for the suspect as of Saturday evening.
