A Queens man has been arrested for stealing a car and injuring two officers in Oceanside, police said.

According to police, Macsteve Diaz, 26, was pulled over around 9 p.m. Thursday on Daly Boulevard driving a reportedly stolen car.

When officers attempted to arrest Diaz, he resisted and caused injuries to two officers, police said. Both officers were transported to the hospital for treatment.

Diaz is charged with two counts of assault, criminal possession of stolen property, illegal possession of a vehicle identification number, resisting arrest and multiple vehicle traffic law violations.
