Two men are charged with armed robbery of a United States Postal Service carrier in Newark, according to federal prosecutors.
Prosecutors say James Hammond-Smith, of East Orange, and Eddie Tyree James White, of Delaware, flashed a gun and demanded the master key in November 2022.
They used that key to steal mail, including checks and money orders, according to federal prosecutors.
