This weekend will be jam-packed on the Bronx River Parkway due to construction.
The Department of Transportation says there will only be one lane open from Exit 9 to Exit 10. Drivers can also expect 15-minute full closures in both directions.
Construction will start at 10 p.m. each night and end at 7 a.m. each morning. Work starts today and is expected to finish by Sunday morning.
These closures are all part of the $65 million project to replace the bridge carrying the Bronx River Parkway over the Metro-North Railroad tracks.
The closures are weather-permitting, so it can be postponed if the weather does not allow for construction.
